Daniel Russell

Vice President, Development

Daniel Russell is the Vice President of Development at DoveHill Capital Management where he is responsible for the oversight of development and renovation activities at hotels within DoveHill’s portfolio and for third-party owners. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of design and construction as well as budget and schedule management.

Daniel has a decade of real estate experience ranging from finance, corporate real estate management, and development at firms including CWCapital, Cushman & Wakefield, and The Related Group. An architect by training, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), as well as a complimentary Master of Science in Real Estate from the J Mack Robinson Business School at Georgia State University.

Daniel lives in Fort Lauderdale with his family and enjoys everything the South Florida lifestyle has to offer. He is an equestrian, having competed throughout his childhood and collegiately, and continues to ride and train.
